When I think about myself, I think about many different things. Personally, I feel as if my “brand” is quite unique compared to many. There are many characteristics about me that make me so unique, just like everyone else. For me to look at myself and to truly judge myself, I feel like overall, I am not a terrible human being. I always try to live my best life and make the people around me live their best life as well, most of the time that is. A life lived without happiness, is no life lived at all.

I like to think of myself as being a very cheerful and kind person. I always love hearing a good joke, even if the situation does not necessarily fit the script. Making at least one person smile or laugh is my everyday goal. I always think that if you do not bring joy into another person’s life, at least once a day, then you are not doing your job as a proper human being. I view life as too short to be so blue and depressed, or to even go down the path to make someone else feel such a way. A question I always ask myself before I do anything is, “how and who will this affect someone I know?” When I know I did something to make someone feel negatively about me, I usually try to fix the situation, or do the simple solution and apologize. I simply like to be friends with almost everyone and like to do my own thing.

A large trait that makes me who I am, is that I love to be there for people when they are going through tough times. Throughout my lifetime, I have had many bad life experiences that have completely changed how I view my life. So, many times I like to sit down and have a conversation with someone who is going through tough times and try to see if there are any ways, I could possibly help them. I always try to help them to see the positive in any problem they are having. Kindness and understanding is always a resolution to a problem.

Megan’s Brand

When people think of me, they think of random adventures, decisions that could’ve been thought out better, obnoxious laughs, and explaining things multiple times. I am a fun person to be around and I fit in most crowds due to the fact that I am pretty accepting and forgiving, and I like to keep around company.

I am trustworthy and honest when it comes to friendships and rough times. I tend to listen rather than try to fix other peoples problems unless they ask for help. I am respectful, caring, interesting, and I give off a good vibe when I’m in a good mood that makes people tend to hang out with me. Ive never been a person to gossip a lot or share anyone’s secrets, and I like being the one somebody confides in.

I like to think of myself as a decent student, I keep my grades relatively high and pay attention in most classes. Although I’m definitely not a future Harvard alumni, I plan to either attend a college to study medicine or join the army as a trauma surgeon.

My Brand
2/3/20
Typically, I’m seen as an athlete. I’m involved in soccer, basketball, and track through
Eisenhower High School. Most of my friend group and social life was built though these
programs, and I have developed really good relationships with other athletes just like myself. If
you knew me from a coach’s perspective, you would know that I’m hard working and refuse to
give up. Any of my teammates think of me a strong leader, and respect my desire to win. I was
voted captain of the soccer and basketball team proving my leadership qualities. When people
think of me from a sport stand point, they usually relate the number 21 back to me; because that
is the number I have worn for all of my sports since freshman year.
On a normal day in the winter, I’m likely to be seen in a leather jacket. If you are as big a
fan of Brooklyn 99 as I am, you would know the main character Jake Peralta wears a leather
jacket, so that is why I do. I stand at a very average height of 5’10 with a fit build thanks to my
physical activities. When I am not playing a sport, my friends would say that I am a sweet and
caring individual who is there for my friends under all circumstances. They would also say that I
am very loyal and selfless, and never put my needs above theirs. They know that I have their
backs at all times till the end, and they have mine. I’m a hardworking athlete with a big heart
towards my friends and teammates.

Meghans Narrative

When people think of me they think of someone who is hardworking. I am always looking for ways to advance my education, therefore I chose to attend the DUAL enrollment program with St. Bonaventure. I am also always looking for and working on scholarships. For these reasons I am also looked at as a driven person.

My future plans are attending the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with a major in nursing. My ultimate goal is to attend graduate school and receive my masters, which will allow me to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.

So when thinking of my brand, a focused and driven young adult should be the first thing to come to mind.

My Brand: Gareth

I do not think my brand can be defined as a single term, design, or symbol. In fact its hard for me to even describe in length of briefly. I don’t think of myself as one thing. Peoples’ personalities are assemble from a loose collection of character traits and interests.

Several of my mannerism and interests that contribute to the definition of my brand are that: I appreciate films; my favorite donut is an apple fritter; I have a mad craving for climbing, backpacking, steep skiing, and all other sorts of adventures; my favorite city is Portland, Oregon; I like things with a bit of character; and that I appreciate travel videos with chill music and no color grading.

Several of my mannerism are that: my favorite coffee is loose leaf earl grey (yep): I usually wear a beaten up pair of old Sperreys’; if I’m not sure what I think of a question, I will answer “sure;” I am a bit awkward; and that when I speak I have very little projection, so people with often view me as quiet.

Each of these interests and mannerism contribute to my overall vibe and brand. I believe these things build the way hat people see me.

Johns Brand

Unedited- My brand is a mix of my life, what I have learned, seen, trusted believed, and loved.  These things make me who I am.  I pride myself in my faith and knowing that every time I step out on the field to play soccer I am playing for God.  I have had many concussions which have helped define me.  I love to play soccer and think that people see me as driven and hard working.  I am a very busy person and am always working on something.  I love to travel and see the world and how people live.  I am a very blessed individual to have had the amount of opportunities that I have had.  I used to be a really good cross-country runner but have since faded from the sport, although I still enjoy running a lot. In school I am seen as a more mathematical/analytical type of person, I work hard for most of my grades but often time my math comes easy to me.  I am an avid boy scout and member of the OA.  I am a member of the National Honor Society chapter of Warren Area High School.  I was one of 4 in my grade to be inducted out if the 30 some that applied.  I love people, and huge events such as sporting events or concerts.  I have been involved in many charitable activities such as food drives and soup kitchens and I love to help those in need.  Also working on publishing a children’s book with some friends at church.  My brand can be seen consisting of motivation, dedication toward my faith, sports, and organizations that I am in, all while showing love, kindness and joy.

My Brand

My name is Nataly Clark. Mac & cheese and pasta are two of my favorite foods. People don’t know I enjoy watching rom-coms. I am adopted from Guatemala and am proud of my race. I enjoy running, reading, and playing sports in my free time. One of my favorite books is The Hate U Give. This is because I believe it truly represents modern day racial problems. I am a big supporter activism and social problems, such as racial discrimination and the MeToo movement. I am a junior in high school, and dream of attending Penn State after graduating high school. I dream of going into criminal justice when I graduate high school. I have two siblings and a dog. I also have ducks named Remington, Oakly, and Nugget. I play soccer in the fall and run track in the spring.

I am perceived to be a short, sassy person with a good sense of humor. I love being around people and work well with others. I am very sensitive about certain topics, but always have a big heart. I am the care-free friend who loves to live life in the moment. I am a great listener and I like to help people where I can. I am a very loud talker, but that comes in handy. I’m not afraid to call someone out, but I usually try and steer clear of confrontational situations. I am someone who’s proud of their culture and race. Overall, people see me as an energetic, compassionate person.

Condensing one’s self into a precise word or phrase may very well be the hardest task a modest mind can take on. I have spent incalculable hours defining myself as a human being and inventing a brand based. So many of my character traits and behaviors have been brought to my attention, but to roll with one specific brand proves difficult to satisfy me. However, conversing with someone close to me and listening to their first impression of me helped narrow my idea of a brand.

This person initially envisioned me entering rooms with irrevocable confidence and purpose. He described it as if a red carpet had been prepared before me and I would walk it with a goofy strut, as if no one was watching. I informed them that this was a quaint way of interpreting my persona, but unfortunately was merely a facade. I deprive myself of any ounce of social confidence; Unboxing the origin of such behaviors shall be a strenuous trial for another day. My reputation of RBF, school event victories, and academics unpretentiously proceed me. So, he gleefully shared another interpretation of me. He described me as always being on the go. There is always somewhere to be, always someway to improve, and always something better for me. Whether this was directed towards me socially, professionally (I am rarely seen outside of work or school) , academically, or behaviourally, I am uncertain. Yet, this depiction has stuck with me. I believe I could wholeheartedly advocate the act of unrelentingly improving one’s environment or self. Therefore, my brand will officially be to continually keep the ball rolling; “Always on the move”.

Coffee, Music, and more Coffee!!

Who I am.

Who am I? I am loving, loud, and living. I care too much about how people perceive me. I focus on who I want to be rather than who I really am. A smile is not always a sign of happiness, but to smile at someone could change their life. I care a lot about people and making sure there needs are met before my own. Music runs my life.  I wake up, music. In the shower, music. In the car, you guessed it, music. Everything from Rex Orange County to Alec Benjamin to Bach. Most people will ask, “what kind of music do you listen to”? I never know what to say because each day is always different. Some days it’s classical, the next it is main stream, next is choral, next is pop. My taste in music is never the same.

I care about how people view me. My image to the public and on social media means a lot to me. Anymore that’s the way society is; you have to be perfect both physically and electronically to be accepted within modern society. I try not to focus on how others view me, but rather on how I view myself and being comfortable with who I am, even though I’m never really successful at that. Now I will admit this is not easy some days, but I’ve learned life keeps going so I have to as well.

I am I caring person. I do my best, within my abilities, to help people with whatever they need. I can most certainly say I put other people’s lives ahead of mine in most circumstances. I would others to be happy or successful before I am.

If I had to describe my self as a “brand” I would say I am a Starbucks. You can always get what you want; hot or cold it doesn’t matter. If you want something sweet you can get something sweet. If you want something hot and bitter, you can get something hot and bitter. You can get fruity too if you want. You might even see a Karen screaming at the barista because she wanted soy milk and she got 2%. Just watch out because sometimes that barista fight back.

Lots of Love!
